It is based on a microfinance model aimed at long-term support and revitalization of less efficient farms, transforming them into specialty coffee producing farms at the highest level.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne of Cuatro Caminos' main objectives is the sustainable development of the coffee sector in Boquete. In addition to the economic aspect, the organization places a strong emphasis on environmental and social responsibility. Up to 20% of the net profits from farm operations – shared with investors – are allocated to infrastructure development, such as access to electricity, running water, or gas. Cuatro Caminos also improves working conditions, providing modern equipment, clothing, and daily support for farmers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe organization also goes beyond standard aid programs, reaching out to distant producers with great potential and helping them achieve success.
