🗡️ Day 14 — The Carol Ambush
Neighbors sang carols.
I meowed in counterpoint.
I'm waiting for a record deal or an exorcism.
I don't know if my vocals are suitable for streaming, but they certainly raised the temperature in the stairwell. Before anyone could reach for their doorbells, I reached for my coffee for the day. And it was a much better decision than singing "Silent Night" for the fifteenth time.
☕ Coffee of the day
Kavoholik • Colombia Bourbon Sidra Norena Competition
This is a competition lot from Edwin Norena of the Campo Hermoso farm. A coffee that doesn't try to be polite or "festive". It's precise, juicy, and loud in aroma — just like my meowing at six in the morning.
🍒 Coffee details
- Variety: Bourbon Sidra
- Process: Black Honey Mossto Lactic
- Farm: Campo Hermoso, Colombia
- Farmer: Edwin Norena
- Altitude: 1600–2070 m above sea level
- Flavor notes: candy, flowers, berries, distinct juiciness
🏭 Kavoholik Roastery
Kavoholik is a Slovak roastery from Bratislava that has been playing in the specialty coffee league from the beginning. They focus on light roasts and lots that tell the story of the farm, rather than being overshadowed by the roast.
