Sango - coffee roastery

Sango is more than a micro-roastery in the heart of Amsterdam – it's a joint project by Kaho and Mitchell, who have created an oasis for coffee enthusiasts in a historic building dating back to 1670. The name "Sango" means coral in Japanese, symbolizing their deep commitment to sustainability and ecosystem protection.

At Sango, they believe in the Japanese philosophy of mottainai – respect for what we receive from nature. Mitchell, an accomplished barista (Dutch Brewers Cup Vice-Champion!), personally ensures that the roasting process highlights the hard work of the growers, rather than overshadowing it.
