Goriffee Coffee Roasters is a Slovakian roastery whose story began with a love for Rwanda. It all started 11 years ago when the brand's co-founder, Erik, first tasted local specialty coffee while volunteering in Rwanda. This experience changed his perception of taste — he discovered that coffee doesn't have to be bitter or burnt, but can delight with its cleanliness, sweetness, and depth of aromas.
Today, Goriffee roasts coffees from all over the world, but its African roots are still at the heart of the brand. The name itself is a tribute to Rwanda — "Goriffee" is a combination of the words gorilla and coffee, symbolizing both the wildness of nature and respect for its gifts.
For the Goriffee team, coffee is more than just a daily ritual. It's a way to connect people, build communities, and inspire change. After all, "over coffee" is where conversations, friendships, and ideas that can change the world begin.
