Colombia El Encanto Gesha Fully Washed /035 from Dutch roaster A.M.O.C.
In the cup, you'll find notes of Darjeeling tea, peachy fruit accents, and delicate, floral-citrus lime zest tones – elegant, balanced, and full of finesse, as befits an exceptional Geisha from the heart of Colombia.
Following the debut of Number 018 by Gustavo Acevedo, we are delighted to welcome the Acevedo family back to our offering – this time with a new, fresh harvest. We present a washed Geisha variety, created by Gustavo's daughter, Daisy, as part of the exciting new El Encanto project, run jointly with Freddy. This magical coffee venture is located in the picturesque Quindio region and offers an extraordinary taste experience.
Coffee Origin, Processing, and Tasting Notes:
This lot of washed Geisha is our first purchase from Daisy and the El Encanto project. The seeds used for cultivation come from Gustavo's Geisha plot in La Celia and bring to the cup the same bright, complex notes of lemongrass and jasmine. The citrus accents here are more refined, clean, and harmonious compared to Gustavo's coffee, which we had the opportunity to taste four years ago.
Exceptional specialty coffee from the A.M.O.C roastery in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Packaging:
230g of whole bean coffee. And all of it in this roastery's characteristic jar. What more could you want?
