A.M.O.C Colombia Typica Amarillo

Coffee origin, processing, and tasting notes:

Exceptional specialty coffee from the A.M.O.C roastery in Rotterdam, Netherlands. A true treat for connoisseurs! Beans from Colombia by Edinson Argote, processed as natural anaerobic, yeast inoculated, and mossto co-fermented, with tasting notes of peach, dark chocolate, and tropical hints.

Edinson Argote is a young, passionate coffee producer with extensive experience in the industry. He was orphaned at the age of three when his mother passed away and was raised by his sister. He decided to leave home when he was 11 and started working in various places. When he was 18, he joined the army, where he served for 18 months.
His true introduction to specialty coffee came after his military service at the age of 20, when he worked for his cousin at a local coffee collection station in Acevedo-Huila, loading and unloading coffee. During this time, Edinson developed a keen interest in coffee cupping, participating in courses to improve his sensory skills.
As his career developed, Edinson gained valuable experience and mentorship working at some of the most innovative coffee farms in the Cauca region, which led him to take on the role of head of quality control and processing at one of these farms. Grateful for the knowledge and experience gained, he was nevertheless driven by a personal ambition to establish his own coffee farm. Currently, at Quebraditas Coffee Farm, a venture run with his family, he cultivates exotic coffee varieties such as Gesha, Bourbon Sidra, Ombligon, Eugenoids, Chiroso, and Laurina. Emphasizing family ties, hard work, and a drive for progress, Edinson's journey reflects his commitment to quality and innovation in coffee production.
