Kenya Top Kiri AA from the Belgian roastery Boo Modern Coffee. Like all Boo coffees - this one is also Omniroast. We brewed it as a filter.
AA Top Kiri is an excellent example of why Kenyan coffees are so highly regarded worldwide. Grown in Kirinyaga county by approximately 12,000 smallholder farmers, this coffee reflects the ideal terroir of the region: high altitude above 1450 m a.s.l., fertile red volcanic soils, and a climate conducive to the slow maturation of coffee cherries.
Farmers supplying beans to the Kiri station benefit from a long tradition of coffee cultivation and rigorous processing standards, resulting in brews with a clean, distinct, and complex profile – exactly what Kenyan coffees are famous for.
Beans from Kenya, Ruiru 11, SL 28, SL 34, and Batian varieties, washed process. Flavor notes: Dragon fruit, Cherries, Blackcurrant, Lavender
