This coffee comes from Finca Ambera in Pitalito, Huila – one of the most active specialty coffee regions in southern Colombia. This region is located between the Andes mountain ranges at an altitude of approximately 1300–1900 m above sea level, where a cooler climate and volcanic soils promote the slow ripening of fruits and the development of dense, high-quality coffee. Pitalito is particularly known for producers who experiment with fermentation and post-harvest processing techniques while maintaining a clean and well-structured flavor profile. Many farms in this region are small, family-owned enterprises where great attention is paid to selective harvesting and manual processing.
