Delicious! Summer bottled in a cup. Very fruity, more like a co-ferment than a natural (if you know what I mean:)) - recommended by Coffee Mates:)
From the roastery:
The coffee comes from the Huila region, from the town of Acevedo, where the Peñas Blancas processing station supports local farmers, providing them with modern infrastructure and technical support – which translates into access to high quality standards and fairer working conditions. The project is coordinated by Nestor Lasso, a Colombian producer valued for his innovative approach to coffee processing, with a particular emphasis on traceability and consistency of quality. Thanks to this joint effort, coffees from Peñas Blancas stand out with a clean, distinct aroma and a stable sensory profile from batch to batch.
The Caturra varietal and natural processing, carried out at an altitude of up to 1900 m above sea level, build a juicy and energetic cup profile. The taste clearly reveals notes of pineapple, ripe bananas and melon, creating an expressive brew with a fruity, well-integrated acidity and a velvety, round body.
We wholeheartedly recommend this coffee for pour-over methods, where its fruity sweetness and smooth texture are best expressed. However, if you like lighter, fruitier espresso, this coffee may also positively surprise you.
