Edwin Noreña is a well-known figure in the specialty coffee scene. On his Campo Hermoso farm in the Quindío region of Colombia, he sets new standards for modern processing methods. His coffees are recognized worldwide – not without reason, as their foundation is quality, innovation, and clearly defined flavor profiles.
The Caturra variety was used to create Red Candy – a selection particularly valued for its intensely fruity character. The coffee underwent Honey processing, which further emphasizes its natural sweetness and fruitiness. The fruits are partially pulped and then go directly to drying tables without a washing stage – this process allows the full range of aromas to be preserved within the bean.
The result? A creamy coffee with a medium body, subtle citrus acidity, and intense aromas of red fruits, strawberries, and cranberries, with a finish reminiscent of cheesecake.
