Flavor notes: mango, papaya, nougat
Origin:
Finca Las Camelias, located in the La Libertad region at an altitude of approximately 1790 m a.s.l., covers an area of 15 hectares. The coffee there is processed and dried with great care – after washing and fermentation, it is dried on the patio for about 14 days. For the first eight days, the beans are turned every two hours to ensure even moisture removal and a stable flavor profile.
Tradition from Huehuetenango
The farm owner, Juan José Ariano Vides, continues a rich family tradition of coffee cultivation started by his grandfather, Jorge Vides, in 1958 at Finca La Bolsa.
Juan has been growing and exporting coffee for over 20 years. Together with his mother, María Elena Vides — who oversees quality control and leads projects supporting women in the coffee world — they passionately and diligently develop the family business.
All Vides family coffees are cupped and profiled in Guatemala City, ensuring full traceability and consistent, high quality. Constant farm renewal, staff training, and meticulous attention to detail make their coffees a reliable symbol of craftsmanship and quality from Huehuetenango.
