Nestor Lasso
Nestor Lasso is a young, visionary coffee producer from Pitalito, in Colombia's Huila region, who manages the El Diviso farm. Together with his brother Adrian and their partner Jhoan Vergara (Finca Las Flores), he represents a new generation of specialty coffee producers, combining family heritage with technical innovation.
They work with rare varieties such as Sidra, Geisha, Pink Bourbon, and Java, applying precisely controlled experimental processes: anaerobic fermentation, thermal washing, extended maceration, and slow drying. The result is coffees of exceptional complexity, with floral, fruity, and sometimes tropical profiles, often described as an explosion of flavor and elegance.
Thanks to meticulous attention at every stage of production, Nestor Lasso has quickly gained a reputation as one of Colombia's most promising producers, combining knowledge, sustainability, and sensory excellence.
