Delicious, intensely strawberry-flavored coffee, which was one of our first co-ferments that we purchased even before we founded our Coffee Mates:). Our recommendation!
This coffee was grown by Luz Helena Salazar on the Maracay farm. The batch underwent a 48-hour dry anaerobic fermentation. During this fermentation stage, strawberries were added. The coffee was then gently washed and placed on raised beds, mixed with strawberries, at a temperature below 35ºC until the ideal moisture level was reached. This microlot is 100% Castillo. This variety was developed by the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros. It is more productive than Caturra and resistant to coffee leaf rust.
