ICKPA (Spark) Kenya AB Kii washed

Classic Kenyan profile with notes of blackcurrant, cinnamon, wild berries, and flowers

Origin:

This coffee is processed at the Kii factory, a member of the Rung’eto Farmers Cooperative Society in central Kenya. Kii is one of three wet mills managed by Rung’eto FCS in Kirinyaga and is Fairtrade certified.
The society was formed after the dissolution of Ngiriama FCS, which led to the merger of Kiangoi, Karimikui, and Kii.

The chairman of this society implemented various quality-oriented processes across all Rung’eto FCS factories. For example, he installed tiles on all washing channels and fermentation tanks. Additionally, processing water is recycled. Farmers associated with the Rung’eto Cooperative cultivate their crops on the slopes of Mount Kenya, known for producing intense, complex, and flavor-rich coffees.

Processing and flavor notes:

Here we have Kenyan beans of varieties SL28, Ruiru 11, SL34, Batian, processed washed, with flavor notes of blackcurrant, red grapes, and flowers.

Packaging:

200g whole bean coffee.
