Flavor notes: red currants, mint, caramel, milk chocolate.
Origin and processing:
Coffee from the Finca La Sirena farm in the Colombian region of Quindío, created by farmer Juan David Puerta.
The key to the uniqueness of this coffee is the innovative Honey Grosella method. After pulping, the coffee beans are immersed for 48 hours in a bath of fresh red currants and vanilla syrup. Thanks to the osmotic dehydration process, the beans literally absorb the fruity sweetness and aroma directly into their structure, effectively locking these flavors into the coffee.
In the cup, expect a light, fresh taste of juicy currants, the sweetness of caramel, a delicate touch of mint, and milk chocolate in the aftertaste. Ideal for filter and cold brew.
