Peace of Cake is a new espresso blend from this roastery. Sweet espresso with a full, creamy body and balanced fruity acidity, with notes of blueberries, almonds, and chocolate. Through proper roasting, they aimed to emphasize the natural sweetness of the two selected coffees, so that the cup would be like a sweet dessert – whether enjoyed black or with milk.

Hacienda Venecia is an active coffee farm with over 100 years of tradition. In 2009, it opened its doors to visitors, sharing extensive knowledge about coffee culture – from cultivation, through processing, export, roasting, to marketing. The farm is located in the rural areas near the Central Andes mountain range, adjacent to Los Nevados National Park.

Selective mechanical harvesting usually involves 40-60% of ripe cherries on the tree, of which about 5% are green, 10% are unripe, and the rest are dried on the tree. Each of these fractions contributes unique characteristics to the coffee, which is why samples are taken before harvesting the entire batch, then processed and roasted to check for flavor profile consistency. Sorting is carried out in a specially adapted processing station: first, density sorting is performed to remove overripe cherries, and then natural and dried beans are separated from ripe, unripe, and green ones.
