Like all Shokunin coffees, this is an Omniroast, although we brew everything from them in a filter.
Argote Peaberry is an exceptional specialty coffee from Colombia (Nariño region), produced by Juan Pablo and Efraín Argote. This is a peaberry (caracolito) – a rare bean that develops individually within the coffee cherry, often resulting in a more concentrated and intense flavor profile.
In the cup, you will find a clean, juicy, and very harmonious profile with notes of raspberry, red berries, and peach, complemented by spicy accents (nutmeg), cacao, and black tea. The coffee is light, elegant, and very clear, with a pleasant sweetness and a long, tea-like finish.
It will work great in pour-over methods such as dripper, Chemex, or AeroPress, where it best expresses its freshness and elegance.
