Bloody Boozy Orange – Funky Character from El Salvador
Meet the "friendly oddball" in our offer. Bloody Boozy Orange is a coffee from El Salvador (Morazán region) that combines pleasant sweetness with a bold, funky flair. Thanks to long anaerobic fermentation (90-120 hours), this bean has gained a unique, almost liqueur-like character that you cannot ignore.
Blood Orange and Sticky Plums
The flavor profile is dominated by intense blood orange and the sweetness of overripe, almost "sticky" plums. The whole is based on a creamy texture with a distinct, boozy undertone. This is an "Omni" type coffee – it works great as a fruity espresso shot, but it will also delight in alternative brewing methods.
ACALEM: Community and Sustainable Development
The beans come from the ACALEM association, which since 2011 has brought together 47 producers from the Sierra Lenca mountain range. Their "Blue Harvest" approach emphasizes the protection of water resources and biodiversity. Cultivation at 1200 m above sea level in clayey soil rich in organic matter allows the Cuscatleco variety to develop multi-layered and complex aromas.

Barista Tips:
For pour-over methods (V60, Orea), we recommend a temperature of 93°C and a ratio of 1:15 (e.g., 17g coffee to 255g water). For espresso, aim for a slightly higher yield (ratio 1:2.4) in 29-31 seconds to fully unlock the fruity and liqueur-like profile of this coffee.
