Ethiopia Limmu Kossa Washed by Dutch roaster Shokunin
Flavor notes: Black Tea, Melon, Lemon, Nutty body
Like all Shokunin coffees, this is an Omniroast, although we brew everything from them as a filter.
Limmu Kossa is a classic specialty coffee from Ethiopia, originating from the Limmu region, where fertile soils and high altitude contribute to complex, elegant flavor profiles. The washed process emphasizes its cleanliness, clarity, and tea-like character.
In the cup, floral and citrus notes dominate, tempered by delicate sweetness and a subtle black tea accent. The coffee is light, balanced, and incredibly pleasant, ideal for daily brewing.
It works great with pour-over methods such as dripper, Chemex, or AeroPress, where it best expresses its freshness and elegance.
