Kenyan coffees are renowned for their exceptional quality due to fertile volcanic soils and an excellent climate, which create ideal conditions for coffee cultivation. However, many producers in Kenya struggle to maintain a stable livelihood due to a lack of financial security. To encourage younger generations to stay in the industry and support the development of the local coffee sector, Peter Muchiri and his wife founded the Rockbern Coffee Group in 2012.

Peter was born into a coffee-producing family and gained experience in accounting before returning to the coffee industry. His personal connection with producers and financial knowledge make him an excellent advocate for local farms, building trust between them. To ensure financial security for farmers, Rockbern emphasizes transparency in the supply chain and focuses on quality, creating appropriate infrastructure for transporting, processing, and storing coffee, which goes directly to roasters through direct trade.

This batch has undergone traditional washed processing, which highlights the natural characteristics of the varieties. In the cup, you can experience a rich honey sweetness, vibrant berry notes with a delicate hint of orange zest, resulting in a clean and well-balanced flavor profile.
