Colombia Lemongrass Edinson Argote Double Washed Yeast

This exceptional coffee comes from the Oporapa region of Huila, where Ángela Rojas and Edinson Argote are developing a family project focused on experimental fermentations, biodiversity, and the development of the local community.

This particular batch comes from the Chorro Alto farm, where it underwent a unique process using lemongrass and yeast. First, the coffee cherries were oxidized for 24 hours, then steeped for 72 hours in a lemongrass liquid, and finally dried at lower temperatures to preserve the precision and purity of the flavor profile.

The cup is dominated by an intense aroma of citrus and herbs, complemented by notes of green tea and honey. The coffee features a fresh acidity, an elegant body, and a long, floral-sweet finish.
