Produced at Finca Las Flores in Pitalito, Huila, Colombia. Brothers Johan and Diego Vergara have brought this Competition Lot of the Java variety to its absolute maximum flavor potential. The cup offers complex notes of sunny sorbet – an explosion of passion fruit, pineapple, and mango, with a delicate, floral accent lifting the whole. Simply amazing.
Full transparency – this is the same coffee as "Candy Shop". However, after refining the roasting profile, we began to discover a different, distinct flavor interpretation, which the entire team unanimously agreed upon. This coffee tastes exactly like Solero Exotic ice cream coating. And that's why it was renamed.
Finca Las Flores was founded over 30 years ago by Edilberto Vergara and Nubia Ayure, who started with 16 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation. After Nubia's passing in 2012, their sons, Johan and Diego, took over the farm, bringing a fresh perspective and innovative approach to specialty coffee cultivation and processing. Today, the farm produces a wide range of high-quality coffees, including Tabi, Red Bourbon, Java, Maracaturra, Pink Bourbon, Gesha, and Caturra Chiroso varieties.
Johan focuses on developing new processing methods aimed at maximizing the sensory profile of the coffee. Diego is responsible for production, fermentation, and drying, ensuring process consistency and stable cup quality. The combination of their expertise and continuous pursuit of innovation has made Finca Las Flores a benchmark for excellence in the world of specialty coffee.
